Just shortly after the purchase of this 80 year old historic landmark in downtown Frankenmuth, interior demolition has begun to convert the building into a 500 seat theater, 10,000 sq ft of Class A office space, and 10,000 sq feet of retail which will house a gourmet restaurant, art gallery, delicatessen, and a cafe The project is expected to be completed in late 2008.
Formerly a schoolhouse, the building was converted into a shopping mall which struggled for almost 20 years because it was not located within the heart of the city's primary shopping district.
I'm astonished at how fast this project is moving. I think it will be a great addition to the downtown.
