Lincoln gearing up for growth in new year
The Town of Lincoln has 1 completed and 2 other confirmed condominium developments. The first one, Lincoln Harbor, is located on Lake Logan Martin, and has 71 of its 80 units leased out. The other 2 are still in the development phases, The Legacy and Coosa Towers. Also Lincoln has recently purchased 161 acres along the I-20 corridor in preparation for an industrial park.

Honda officials announced Monday that the Lincoln facility will be producing the Accord V-6 sedan from the Marysville, Ohio facility by the Summer of 2009. It looks like for the first time in the facility's existence that it will be producing something other than the Honda Pilot and Odssey. This is also good news for the facility since the news that both vehicles sales has slowed, so with the shifting of the production of the sedan along with the Ridgeline truck here will guarantee that continued vibrant future with its 4,500 employees.
