is going to move 275 jobs back to Fort Smith...they are closing a plant in tennessee and mexico and moving some of the jobs back to Fort Smith...

Things have been up and down with Whirlpool, but now it looks like that chapter is finally closing. Whirlpool will be closing the factory in Ft Smith sometime in 2012 and moving all those production lines to other factories. It will be weird to think of Ft Smith with out a Whirlpool facility.
