A while back I read an article about the URA taking properties back from a negligent landlord who was supposed to develop them to help revive Beechview's mainstreet. I can't find a link to this article and I was wondering if anybody has some more information on this.
It's such a great neighborhood with a perfect location. A few key projects could really do a lot there with so many things already in its favor.

nothing... that neighborhood is a huge missed opportunity...
however, just down the line... Dormont, Mt. Lebanon and Castle Shannon are all planning high-density districts near their T stops

URA has foreclosed on developer Bernardo Katz's properties that line Broadway.
