I drove past the mill on the way to the grant this morning and was very surprised to see alot of activity (on a SATURDAY!!) They must be in a big hurry to get this completed. Already it looks better with new windows as opposed to the red plywood.

They are doing a lot of really nice work to the outside of the building. I think all of the windows are complete, and the "Slater Cotton Mill" sign went up this week! Anyone know when this is supposed to wrap up?

The company is working to get the mill up and running by September...The New Hampshire-based company is currently leasing the apartments on site (a person is at the site most of the week) and I believe they have a unit to show prospective tenants.  There willl be 125 or so apartments at market rental rates...Any questions call me at 724-5200.  Herb Weiss, Economic and Cultural Affairs Officer, City of Pawtucket.

The company finally has a website for the project, though, it is merely a corporate template: Slater Cotton Mill. It does have some decent photos and pricing. They are also actively posting on Craigs List.

I posted some new photos of the progress on ArtInRuins... the last four photos are the newest.

I'm not 100% sure, but it seems they are leasing, so I'll assume this project is "COMPLETE."  ???

The project is complete. It has become the unofficial home for the Pawtucket Red Sox players. There is also a small number of commercial spaces that have been occupied as well.

It's been occupied at least 2 or 3 months.
