I love the pictures of Brisbane as it has progressed thoughout the ages! It looks so beautiful now with the new highrises.

Awesome to see the evolution! From what appears to be a small fishing port, to a booming city! Great photos!

Of course like any city, it goes in cycles. There was quite a boom in the 70s and then the late 80s/early 90s. Now Brisbane is seeing it's largest boom ever. An amazing number of skycrapers are currently under construction. Yet even another new tall one @ 70 levels known as Emerald looks set to take off realtively soon too.

This aerial is from about 1 1/2 years ago but shows the winding river really well.

It is a beautiful city and quite hilly. So many hills and very tiring (but enjoyable) to walk around.
