SPRINGFIELD — Belgian recycler Socaplast USA has chosen the Solutia business park on Worcester Street for its U.S. headquarters, which is expected to create 15 permanent full-time jobs. Socaplast is the European supplier for Solutia, which is based in Indian Orchard. The new development has resulted in private investment by Socaplast of $3.4 million in facilities and equipment.
Any HQ, even a small one is good news in Springfield. too bad its only 15 jobs right now. here is to hoping this company does well here and expands its work force down the road.
