I've noticed some scaffolding from 290 at around the site of the old Cold Storage. I can't exactly remember what was going on that site? Wasn't the firefighters memorial going there, and a firehouse?
Anyone know exactly?

It is a new Fire Station. I believe it iwll be the Fire Department Headquarters as well

Originally it was going to be a new Headquarters... but things changed, now it's a Fire Station only.. it's a little bit over 14,000 sf. ..
