Walking by Macys and the Empire State Building.
Walking both by and through Central Park.
Standing between the 2 mighty towers of the WTC.
Visiting both of the observation decks of the E.S.B. and the WTC.
Walking along the waterfront and seeing the Brooklyn Bridge from the ESB and walking both ways across it in the middle of (from memory) on wooden planks.

Here are some shots of the Sphere as it is now. Amazing that it survived the impact.
It is currently at a memorial in Battery Park. These are from 2002.

I was the ages of 3-13 in the 1980s (I turned 4 in March of 1980 and 13 in March of 1989).... I do have some vivid memories......
