I wanted to get some feedback and ideas on what amenities or cool things you have or want in your downtown apartment if you were to design it yourself?

What do you like about your apartment, or wish you had? Higher ceilings? Better appliances? Built-in Entertainment center? Fireplace?

I know this may be almost ironic, But I love a good Balcony.  Actually, I prefer a terrace.

My cousin had a great place over by the UN.  Pool on the roof and a great ourdoor space up there.  he lived 1 floor down from the pool, and the unit had a nice balcony.  I want the kind of place you can have a few friends on the balcony, or at least 1 friend, and still room for a cigar and some scotch.  Ideally room for 2 small chairs and a table.

assuming I was rich I want plants.

I know its all superficial stuff, but its like the urban equivilent of a nice lawn right?
