Tree's aren't allowed into parking lots in Warwick. They get in the way of the pavement.
The only other upside to Trader Joe's being in Warwick can be seen in the background of the first photograph between the signage and the person. Now I can go have lunch and do some shopping all in one trip and only park the car once.

You mean Chipotle? I really like that place, but the portions are waaay too large. One meal there and you don't have to eat for 2 days.
Agree with jim, though. You'd have to be crazy to try crossing Rt. 2 at that intersection. Any intersection, really.

There's a crosswalk in the photo. I say we do an urban intervention and have a hundred people show up there and spend the afternoon using the crosswalk. The drivers' brains'll esplode.

They will be serving refreshments in the parking lot prior to opening. (e.g. "expect a crowd")
This is per the guy that answered at their phone number (listed at traderjoes.com)

My girlfriend and I stopped in last night about 20 minutes before the store closed.
The size and layout are great. Not cramped like some of the Boston area stores.
It was still busy, but there were plenty of carts and baskets.
They had most of what I was after, but the store looked like they were predicting a 4-foot snowstorm for tomorrow. Very picked over, and they probably don't get another shipment until tomorrow.
Other than the lack of cheap wine, this will be one of the better Trader Joe's once the traffic settles down to a normal level.
