Welcome to the forum, nquint!

I wasn't able to come up with any renderings of the completed project, just a DOTD and Times-Picayune graphic and staff photograph from April of '07. I can tell you that the I-10 project is expected to be completed sometime in the next three or four months; nearly six months ahead of schedule.

It is my understanding that the completion of the new causeway interchange is NOT party of the current I-10 project.  The Bonnebel ramps are, and so is some of the pier contruction.  Notice the box around the Causeway interchange on the graphic.

According to the Louisiana Dept. of Transportation and Development website, the Causeway/I-10 interchange modifications are scheduled to let out for bid in August 2008.  It's listed as phase 1.  Not sure when the second and final phase will be let for bid.

Here is a link to the statewide projects to be let page.

I noticed the piers while driving through some time back and assumed they were reconfiguring that intersection while they did the same to Bonnabel.  That's great news that they are finishing ahead of schedule!
