The floor for the 6th floor is in place, so we basically have the complete massing for the first 5 levels in place. Two more to go! The metal studs for the exterior wall are also being installed.

First of all: I'm beyond excited about this development!

But, I have to say that their website kind of irritates me. They're advertising a very contemporary lifestyle, however they're using an image of downtown Greenville from more than 10 years ago. The garage that their development is attached to isn't even in the image-- it's the old Spring St garage. Also, their location map lists the Bilo Center as a grocery AND entertainment option. How about a little effort?

Looks like some color changes are going before the DRB next month.  The panels on the building were to have been shades of blue.  I thought it looked fun, and something different for downtown.  Looking back through the old DRB minutes, a couple of the board members apparently thought the blue color was "too bold for the downtown area."  The new color scheme is all shades of gray.  Looks pretty blah and depressing to me.  It makes the McBee Station apartments look lively.

The colors that appear on the rendering you linked from the DRB agenda and the actual colors dont match. I agree the image shown is very "blah". There is a panel on site at the corner of Washington and Spring showing the actual colors and they look alot more appealing than what the image you referred to represents. There is still alot of blue proposed in the final color scheme (more subtle than what was previously rejected) and I think most people will like it.
