New football league to play in Orlando next year:
http://sportsillustr...f=si_topstories
The story says there will be six teams: Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Orlando, New York and Hartford.
I'm not sure about this new league, but for me, you would think that the NFL needs to look at this list and see that Orlando should be on their short list for expansion.

This league has had 2 goes at it, they were supossed to start in '07, then '08, now '09.
I think there is a chance it could happen, but it's going to require a lot of capital to be viable. One of the biggest commitments T. Boone Pickens backed out, as have several smaller.
I'd like to see it, but with the NFL and College playing, this league is going to have a tough time.

Maybe it can be a League to go up against the NFL with Cities that have other Pro Teams but no NFL Team.

Buddy Dyer sees Orlando as potential NFL city
Does Buddy know something we don't? Or is it just campaign rhetoric?
