I posted this on the general forum, because this is huge.  It's not just a coup for MSU and Lansing, but for the entire state of Michigan.  There are apparently only three other facilities like this in the world, and the only one in the United States.  Amongst all of the bad news, this is simply awesome to here.  We're talking braggning rights, and huge amounts of research money and attracting high-level engineers and researchers.

Yes, indeed!  Congratulations, MSU.  That was the post I made on the GR board, since this one is universally ignored.
