$1 Billion investment by Hemlock Semiconductor coming to Michigan

The largest polycrystalline silicon production facility in the world (used for solar cells), built West of Saginaw this year, sounds like it is set to expand again.  Duel press conferences are scheduled for Monday morning for Hemlock Semiconductor, one in Saginaw and one in Clarksville, TN later that day:

I'd be surprised that it would be held at Saginaw Valley State University with Granholm in attendance if HSC wasn't announcing an expansion in Michigan.

They announced that the current Hemlock Semiconductor plant West of Saginaw would get a $1 Billion expansion (might even end up being more), and a new $1.2 Billion plant would be built in Tennesee.
