Whole foods currently operates 5 locations in the state.
two in West Hartford, one in Glastonbury, one in Westport and one in Greenwich.
The company plans to open four more, in Milford, Fairfield, Darien and Stamford, company spokesman Fred Shank said.
much of the article is about the merger with whole foods and the continued battle over anti trus laws etc.
its all kind of funny to me because its a losing battle for the government. expensive healthy food is not an industry. food is, but not a specific demographic. the wa I see it this is a waste of government time and it hurting a well run american company making them defend the merger.
