One of my friend's dad stayed there on a business trip and said that it was absolutely incredible. I would not doubt it after those pictures.

This really is a very interesting hotel. Its very futuristic yet traditional in the inside. There are a combination of interior design styles. I would imagine that this hotel would take your breath away seeing it in person.

Do you have any reference as to the 7-star ranking?  The only official rankings recognized in the US is AAA which uses a maximum 5 diamond scale and exxon/mobil who uses a maximum 5 star scale.  Who's giving these rankings?

I believe that it's a very nice hotel.  It looks wonderful, but I've never seen this claim backed up.

I saw this hotel on the Discovery Channel last year.  This hotel is absolutely incredible.  You have got to see the rooms the hotel has to offer.  Each one is unique, and the bathrooms are fit for a King.  Want a room?  Better have have money in the six digits!!!!!

That is a great photo series what is even more interesting is the dynamic leadership of the nation, think about all that is involved with taking an area in this region and attracting CMU and MIT for "education city" having the worlds only two 7 star hotels, attracting the worlds rich and famous with real estate deals.  All the best to Dubai but it is a lesson in city government we can all take to heart, what is Dubai doing that we aren't, the steaks are truly global now and right now Dubai is the gold standard on effective financial and civic city leadership!

I cant even imagine staying in ahotel like that. With all the construction in dubai, I would bet in oh say 10 years. Dubai will soon be recognized by the average citizen of the world as a truly incredible city.
