This has been going on forever but maybe they will build a new bridge one day after all.

NEWINGTON — There were a lot of happy and relieved people at the state Department of Transportation headquarters Wednesday, as the second round of bidding for a new Pearl Harbor Memorial Bridge brought a low bid of $417.19 million, $33 million less than the DOT’s estimated cost.

I went through New Haven on I95 today, and I was shocked at how much of the bridge has been completed already.

That was me last weekend. its almost at the point where Evil Kinevil could jump the gap.....or a run away Los Angeles city bus with keanu reeves at the wheel...
