Private equity firm Blackstone Group announced Wednesday it had reached a $2.7 billion deal with Anheuser-Busch InBev to purchase Busch Entertainment Corp., which operates Busch Gardens and Water Country USA in Williamsburg and other theme parks across the country. Blackstone, which already has a portfolio of entertainment and theme park properties, will give the brewing company $2.3 billion in cash plus initial investment rights valued up to $400 million, according to a news release.
