Supposedly the worst is behind us economically speaking, but who knows how the credit markets will look in 2010. With that uncertainty in mind, here's my wish list.

1. More retail/restaurants for Main. Facade improvements would be a BIG plus as well.
2. New waterfront park breaks ground.
3. Innovista gets back on track.
4. Old fire station HQ's project sees some movement.
5. New tenants are announced for the Palmetto Center.
6. North Main streetscaping finishes up.
7. More retail/restaurants for Five Points.
8. More retail/restaurants for the Vista.
9. Darla Moore School of Business breaks ground.
10. A big economic development announcement.

I hate to admit this, but I have never been quite sure what Underground Columbia is. Could someone please enlighten me?

2. Nope.

4. Nope, but the project still seems to have legs.
5. Nope.
6. Yes, and turned out nicely.
7. Yep.
8. Yep.

Is there a timeframe for the waterfront park?

Also, as it relates to your list, the USC BOT approved roughly $92m for the Moore School.  Not sure when construction starts but, the building is expected to be open by August of 2013.  Would it have a 2 year build out?  Also, in the same meeting, the BOT approved $17.5m in upfits for 2 research buildings in Innovista.

Not sure what the time frame is on the waterfront park, but I wouldn't be surprised if it were delayed with this new earmark-averse Congress coming into power.
