Big transit funding change

Federal transit officials have recently announced that they'll soon begin considering some new criteria to help decide which transit projects to fund, such as sustainability and livability. The previous administration’s criteria basically only considered cost-effectiveness, and ignored stuff like energy efficiency, economic development and reduced emissions. So this is a big change.
