The Empire at Broadway is still listed on the Procaccinni Web site as a development in progress. they also list the Fogarty Building as a future project.
My guess for the next skyscrapper might be the Villa del Torre on Federal Hill. All of the zoning was completed for this project and the developer owns the land already. Not sure about neighborhood opposition.
I would be surprised if anything large was to happen in Providence until the economy turns around.
