Not sure what he's actually accomplished, but THIS article makes it seem like he was quite the mass-transit champion. I kinda find that hard to believe, since nothing has really happened, and he never put the kibosh on the NB-Hartford busline fiasco...

It seems like something happened. We are not getting the whole story on this yet. I think it's pretty neutral honestly. Nothing will change until we get a governor who actually gets it.

i think he was a fine head, in terms of at least seeming to support transit, and the last thing I heard was that he was actually starting to support rail over busway, but he certainly didnt "do" anything. you know take a stand against the busway or whatever.
the replacement guy is also a transit guy though, so it might be no difference. heck hopefully, the new guy tries to turn the busway into a railway.
