I thought I would make one big thread to talk about movies that are being filmed in Detroit. Right now 'The Double' is being filmed. All of which is supposed to be shot in metro Detroit. Some of the locations are the Free Press Garage (Moscow hospital), Coaches Corner (Paris Cafe) and the Old Wayne County Building (U.S. Embassy, Paris). Some of the actors include Richard Gere, Topher Grace, Stephen Moyer, Martin Sheen and Stana Katic.

Machine Gun Preacher (Starring Gerard Butler) started filming today. They'll be in Detroit filming between Farmington Hills, Melvindale (?) and Livonia. I think they're filming until the end of the month.
