A permit shows that a business that may employ 2000 is looking at Enterprise South. County mayor declines to comment except that it's Internet based and is 1000 jobs with seasonal additions.

This project seems to be twin sites in Hamilton County and Bradley Counties. It is code named "Project Infinity" and is said a logistical company or Internet based company.

Bradley site is at Interstate 75 and Lauderdale Memorial Highway and may be up to 1,000 jobs.

Hamilton County site is on Enterprise South and is 80 acres.  Up to 2000 jobs.

Announcement expected Wednesday. Average salary of $32000 for approximately 1250 jobs for a major Internet based distribution company.

This is an Amazon.com fulfillment center. Both Hamilton and Bradley County sites are part of the same project. The deal is not final but an announcement is expected Nov 30 2010.

Amazon.com officials attendy Chattanooga city council meeting and all partyies agreed to 11 year tax abatement in exchange for $91 million facility, 1249 jobs averaging $30500 annually. The facility will process smaller items. While Bradley county will do TVs and larger items.
