Hi folks! Just curious if any of you know how I can become involved in economic growth and development. Things like boards, councils, etc.? I recently became a realtor, but I want to be more involved with our growth. Thanks!

You'd probably want to check the city and council websites to see if there are any board vacancies. I'd also suggest joining the local chamber of commerce.

You may want to begin your search here.

Thanks. Most of us here have similar interest. I knew of some avenues, but want to make sure I didn't miss anything.

City boards:

I was on a government board (mass transit oversight/advising) in another city and really enjoyed it.

You could also just run for office.
