Well as most people in the Atlanta area know, The Streets of Buckhead has had its name changed to Buckhead Atlanta. Some of you think it is good, and some not. I thought since this is such a "High Profile Development", that I would give it a thread of its own, just like I did with the SOB. So let yourself be heard. I think we are going to see many changes the rest of this year and into 2012.

I don't like the name as much as The Streets of Buckhead, but if the developer gets things done then it's fine with me!

I think Buckhead Galleria or "Galleria at Buckhead" or Buckhead Collection or "Collection at Buckhead" sounds better

Hermes has signed on to Buckhead-Atlanta as their first new tenant. The Hermes Boutique will be on two levels and carry everything that they make, and will be considered a Global Boutique. Unfortunatley the famous Birkin Handbag still will have a 2 year waiting list. But all the other Hermes handbags will be available with all the great things people love like their silk ties and scarves, belts, small and large leather goods, fragrances, and as I stated everything Hermes carries.

One rendering shows all the retail spaces and what they will be reserved for. From what I can see it looks like 85% to 90% is reserved for luxury retail and the remaining 10% will be reserved for Class A retail and restaurants. That possibly might be some of the luxury designer's diffusion or bridge lines such Just Cavalli, Emporio Armani, D&G, CH Carolina Herrera and so on. So far Oliver McMillan has not been very clear on what he means by just calling a space "Retail", of course "Luxury" is obvious, I hope!

Developers reveal new designs and ‘pedestrian emphasis’ for six-block, eight-acre mixed-use Buckhead project. Oliver McMillan, the new developer of the Streets of Buckhead, now called Buckhead Atlanta, is days away from applying to the city of Atlanta for its first permits to begin construction on the Buckhead site it has owned since June (the site has [...]

Also, developer Oliver McMillan has a web page dedicated to the project. The layout of the project is on page 13 of the link, and I was able to really make it out well with 150% magnification. When you get to the page, underneath click the link where it says, "Click here to view the Buckhead Brochure", this is 42 pages that are in PDF format:
