Chattanooga/Hamilton County may get a 6th bridge of the Tennessee River.  The proposed bridge would be South of the Sequoyah Nuclear Plant and link US 27 and I-75, facilitating traffic between Soddy-Daisy and Collegedale the two fastest growing parts of Hamilton County.  TDOT's study came back as feasible even before the VW, Wacker Chemical, and Amazon plant announcements.  The toll is projected to be $5.00 and the cost of the bridge and roads would be between $235.6-$433 million depending on the route built.  If built the bridge is 10+ years away.
