I drove by the construction site on I-30 today and I was amazed at the sheer size of the thing. Also, I was surprised at how close it is to the Ballpark at Arlington (I'll always call it that, no matter who has naming rights)...for some reason, I had thought there was greater distance between the two.

The NCAA announced yesterday the host sites for upcoming Final Four basketball tournament with the new Cowboys stadium hosting in 2014.
Other events that the stadium has landed:
Big 12 Championship football game - 2009 & 2010
Cotton Bowl - 2010-2019
NBA All-Star Game - 2010
Super Bowl - 2011
