In Charlotte, along Woodlawn and other various roads in that vicinity that I can't recall, there are these very large signs that have a very large 4. I couldn't see any sort of mass transit stop nearby. I was just cusrious as to what exactly they are for.

When i moved to Charlotte, my realtor said it was called route 4 because it is 4 miles from uptown. Also, Billy graham parkway is the only stretch that is anything more than a 4 lane road on that route.

Yeah it is a 4 mile radius of sorts from Uptown
