Winston-Salem Business Inc. said yesterday that it is trying to recruit a Northeast comany that could create up to 500 jobs if it decides to build in the city. Bob Leak, the president of Winston-Salem Business Inc., declined to identify the company involved in the negotiations, but he said that it is in the building-supply industry. He said he has been working with real-estate brokers on possible sites in Forsyth County that include Union Cross Business Park.
