I was looking around Emporis and saw a tower that was at one time proposed for Charlotte called the "BarclaysAmerican Tower".  The project was never built but there was a rendering and a proposed address of 3rd and Tryon.  Does anyone know more about this project?  When was this building proposed and what happened to the proposal that stopped it from coming about?
