The Performing Arts Center, under construction, viewed from the Bay.
It's going to look really nice when it is finished.

This is a picture that Brickell posted earlier... thought I would bring out the color in it as much as possible to see how the picture would look.

This one gives the illusion of a taller, grander, manhattanesque skyline.   :D

^^Whoa, Roark, that's a cool pic!  I hadn't realized how tall the Biscayne towers are getting!

A residential neighborhood along County Line Road... The blur of political boundaries: Miami-Dade County is on the left, and Broward County is on the right.

I remember the first time coming into Miami under the passage.  All I could think was "what have I gotten myself into".    Nice.

^Great pic!  If you haven't already, I'd post that in the general Pic of the Day, for all the forum to see.

That goes to all you Miami photographers too!

Great pic!  I love the highways down there.

I also like the tower cranes in the background!

That's I-95, I-395, and SR 836... It is by far my most favorite interchange in South Florida. There are others I enjoy but this one is the best for me. It provides for the most dramatic entrance into downtown Miami.

You can see the skyline ahead from as far back as NW 151st Street, about 9 miles away, and as you get closer and closer, you see the skyline coming up ahead, you pass by the first mega interchange (the I-95/SR112/I-195/441 interchange) and suddenly this interchange is in your face, you pass through it, and the towers are right in front of you... It's always a beautiful sight and I never get tired of it, no matter how many times I do it. :)
