USD3.3bn Dubai Mountain City
Abu Dhabi's Al Hashemi and Dubai's Al Salem groups are joining forces to launch the USD3.3bn Dubai Mountain City project inspired by the Hanging Gardens of Babylon. Designed by German architects Stolzle Sahihi Wolf, the mountain shaped structure will rise from the sea to 300m, and have residential units, villas, 1,000 apartments, a 1.5m sqft shopping mall, a five-screen cinema and parking for 12,000 cars. Construction starts next year and will take three years.

12000 cars hmm. That is a lot of parking. But it does sound like an amazing project though.
