There are currently 32 high-rise condos either under construction or pending on this beach. This doesn't even count the condos that are going to be build in Panama City. Boy are we booming here in the panhandle.

Wow, its amazing to see another Florida cities booming with new highrises. I'll have to dig around on the net and see what type of projects are going up.

I agree with thelakelander... although a city is more than a highrise building.

To bad the condominiums weren't on the other side of a beachside drive. I guess its great for the people who live there though.

these condos are great news... has anyone been there to see how well they look beside one another and how well they compliment the beach? How is the infrastructure?

The skyline has greatly filled out and most have topped out and completed. Lots of new colors, shapes, and heights for the whole 15 mile stretch. I'm trying to revive this section, and hopefully, get a new Forum created, just for the Florida Panhandle cities of Panama City/PCB, Destin, and Pensacola.

I've got some pictures of Panama City Beach I took about a month ago, I'll post them this evening when I get home if I have the time.

Right, let's just wall off the views of the Gulf from us locals so the wealthy part-time resident northerners can enjoy their uninterrupted views. It's farking stupid.

BTW, only the one condo at St Andrews in being constructed. PC has pretty much stopped that nonsense.

Condo's such as these are becoming a regular throughout the Panama City Beach Stretch

Sands are Popular, as seen in this picture

Looking at the Skyline in the background of the picture, one would think they were somewhere in South Florida.

Another taste of that Panama City Beach skyline

Typical access spot to the beaches.

A nice resort complex.

Pedestrian bridges such as these are common throughout the stretch.

A nice look at some area sidewalks, landscaping, and building scapes.

A bit of a grotesque resort facility on Panama City Beach.

Ripley's Believe it or not marks this busy intersection.

A taste of the road into town.

The last pic is Marina Landing. To its west will be Marina Di Massa--another highrise. Both are on West Bay, in unincorporated Panama City Beach.

That's all so sad. Walling off the beach and Gulf from the locals....
