Unfortunately, GDOT isn't recommending any new Interstates for South Georgia. That means no extension for I-185 nor extending I-22 from Memphis to the Coast, or even extending I-16 west to Mississippi. It's very unfortunate. They say the current or projected traffic doesn't justify.

"Presently, GDOT is studying the need for Interstate access within Southwest Georgia. Information on this study (Southwest Georgia Interstate Study) can be found on our website at: http://www.dot.ga.gov/informationcenter/programs/studies/Pages/southwestgeorgia.aspx. This study is near completion and we are not recommending the construction of additional Interstates in southwest Georgia-including the I-22 and I-81 proposal attached to your e-mail. This recommendation is based on existing and projected future traffic volumes plus a benefit to cost analysis which was completed."
No physical strip clubs are allowed inside city limits of Tallahassee and I doubt that will ever change. There are other options though. One bright spot - Delta's Tallahassee-Ft. Lauderdale route will remain and will be upgraded from turboprop to regional jet. probably to continue competing with American Airlines' regional jet service to Miami.

Tallahassee: Restaurants

My 2 favorite restaurants of late are A La Provence in Market Square and Z. Bhardi's in Killearn Lakes (across from Target and Publix on Thomasville). The bread, desserts, and coffee are first-clas at A La Provence. The new pastry chef is great.

The entrees are fantastic at Z. Bhardi's. I recommend the crabcakes, Seafood Lasagne, and Shrimpt Zeke. The deck is a great place to eat if the temperatures are not extreme.

I tried Masa last week for dinner and lunch. I thought dinner (Stir-fried noodles with beef, chicken, and shrimp) was very good. Lunch was not as good. Lunch seemedm more like a typical Chinese restaurant.

Georgio's still has great food. I love the Beef Stroganoff and Blackened Tuna.

I haven't been back to Food Glorious Food in the last 2 months. I miss Anthony's.

We found that they have an entrance onto Monroe Street that is accessible.
