Walked by here tonight and the hole looks to be as deep as it will go and they are starting to work on the foundation/beneath ground parking.  Excited to see this one progress.  Relatedly close by any idea when we will start to see some action on the Michael Hines 24 story building?

Caissons are really coming up now. This is well underway as all excavation is over.

As of last night, looks as if the first parking garage floor is completed.

They are at street level on the Demonbreun side and about one parking level short of street level on the Malloy side.

Was showing at the Encore last week and could see that the parking garage as the above picture shows is above street level now.  Seems like this one will start to rise quickly.  I still am surprised they did not go a few floors higher, especially now that they have a good shot at buying Pep Boys.  Who knows, but excited to see the progress.

I hope they run out of room fast... and are forced to build another tower.  Maybe they'll get the right amount of space to grow into.

Any new pictures of the progress here for us out-of-towners? Heading back to Nashville in 3 weeks and can't wait to see the progress on everything! I won't even know where to start!

Unfortunately it hasn't progressed that fast.

Still working on the base parking structure which is up to, I don't know, 5 or 6 floors above street level now.    Should be nearing the completion of parking, which takes longer to frame and pour, and the pace will probably pick up once the office space is underway.         

edit:  correction, I drove by this a.m. and counted 8 floors of parking above street level so far.

That thing is going to be massive! I hate it for the Encore pool dwellers though...I'm sure they won't get much sun when the building is complete.

honestly with the reflective glazing that is on the windows both buildings, that may be the BEST place to get sun in downtown...like tanning with 1,000 mirrors!
