Not having to do foundation work is giving them a serious advantage. 

Never expected this to be poured concrete. I expected Structural Steel. But then again, the rest of the structure is known for being "the tallest building in the world to use precast double tees"  ​So I guess it makes sense that this would be concrete too.

I think after this thing gets going with the first few floors, it will be at 5-7 days per floor which is normal pace for the number of towers we've seen go up around here. That easily puts it topping out in the spring next year. And remember, Fall 2016 goes all the way to mid-December :)

I went to DEC for the first time the other day - has anyone ever seen the model of the entire complex incl. Mint Museum apartments on the north side of the lobby? That's really cool - maybe someone could grab a pic - does anyone know how old that model is or is that design for Mint Museum apts out of date?

It's old. It used to be showcased I think in the other Wells Fargo building before DEC being complete. And the residential tower was the condo tower with a circular crown. 

 

I remember those pictures first being posted on UP. Was really exciting
