Me too. I'd snap these suckers up in a heart beat. I just hope they don't develop every single place around the park as Apartments. Its a HUGE waste of a great amenity.

We at least have the Hotel Piedmont coming in at the top and the beer garden at Packard. Ideally, what would you want in the lot on the other side of Poplar from Ascent? That looks to be the next spot right?

This was actually the original location for Ascent. But the site required Hundreds of Thousands of Dollars in Soil Remediation. At some point I drew a plan of exactly what I'd want on this site I'll have to find it.

Build an office building with condos in the back. Build a TON of retail in the base of the building including a grocery store in the basement (Trader Joes, Lidl, or Aldi - go German, why not?). Go even more German and get BMW to move their NA HQ into the building.

That shot right there really highlights the solid density were starting to see in this area. Once Tryon Place gets going and the Observer redevelopement is announced people will have to seriously stop and think before anything is said about us having a lack of it.

Yeah I was told (weather permitting) look to see this topped out early to mid March. It's amazing the difference this makes looking northwest

If we got to freely choose where the next towers were going to go, I'd rather see them push east down Trade, 3rd and 4th.  We need to widen uptown.  Basically fill out every gap between Trade and MLK, all the way from College to Davidson.
