Baton Rouge Photo of the Day

Good pic!

That Cap One building looks like it was designed for a neighboring building to share a way up to the 4th or so floor.

I'm curious as to how they make it look decent. It's pretty hideous now.

Welcome to the BR Forum cookie!

Pardon the shot from the inside-lane...Would have preferred taking this from the outer-lane a lil' higher up...but's that's how traffic was rolling that afternoon..that's when I had the opening...the monstrous Governmental bldg. & new Courthouse (w/ ugly south façade) totally hide II City Plaza from this angle

True Dan....good point...never thought of it like that...the Great Wall is one of the most impressive things in BR!  I need to retrieve an old pic(better pic) of the 4 state buildings...but it's still on my old computer at my brothers house...

PAINT it RED!!!  The historic bland pale/white BR Waterworks Standpipe built way back in 1888...stands 100'ft tall....Would make a perfect iconic "Red Stick" monument in front of the Shaw Center for the Arts....add some fancy bright lettering to compliment the red color; saying Baton Rouge going down vertically! :shades:
