What is the area with th trees and patch of grass in the middle of the roof? Looks like an odd area.  Is the rest of the roof accessible?

I'm thinking maybe this is a view looking at the back of the CMHoF addition from Omni?  Maybe this is the roof of that section and the blacked-in area behind the trees is that big room overlooking the city inside the CMHoF?

My guess is that the rooftop was fancied up a bit since it is so prominently visible to so much of the hotel (and its surroundings), but I do not believe much of it is accessible. You may have already noticed the doors on the bottom left open up to a small fenced-in area. I would be quite tempted to hop that fence if given the opportunity...

That's my understanding, based on my experiences in each location. To clarify, this is facing north from the interior of the Omni's "L"-shape.

Westin Hotel working on the 6th floor I believe this  building will appear pretty tall 21 more floors to go and look how it appears already 

One thing I've noticed about these hotels the first floor or the lobby is a lot higher than the actual floors

I think it's safe to say the Pinnacle will be blocked out of view once the Westin reaches its full height. 

Also, even the first floor above the lobby appears to be higher then the floor that are above it. 

Heck I think even the Batman building will be blocked from this vantage point once the JW goes up!

Keep your fingers crossed on the Buckingham Gulch project...and let's hope we get some concrete announcements on some of those hotels on KVB across from the MCC soon.  Also...gotta pray the developers on the old CC site get their funding ironed out by Christmas and break ground in 2016.  Lastly...can't wait to see some renders for the old Lifeway site.

Having an all day meeting today in the Massey board room on Belmonts campus. Have amazing views of the city and figured I'd share some. I am able to count 9 cranes from this view point as well
