Here is my cities old city hall

Of course, it is no longer standing, it was replaced in the 60's with an ugly, flat, one story POS. BUt, it is proposed that they build a new municipal center, and i hope they do. but they better do it right this time.

Norwich, CT city hall. Small city (37,000) with rich history. Birthplace of Benedict Arnold and near two of the biggest casinos in the world and a proposed Utopia movie studios/theme park/performing arts college adjacent to the city line. The theme park component is supposedly going to draw more visitors per day than Disney World....

BTW Richmond's city hall is magnificent.

Looks like a castle or an old cathedral of some sort. Gorgeous building... any city would love to have a building like that, whether for city hall or anything.

Thanks guys! A little history on it. It was constructed in 1894 and its style is considered Victorian Gothic, a combination not often used anymore. It escaped two destructions, the Richmond burning in the Civil War and demolition in the mid 1900's. Haha, thank god ^_^
