A new report lists Columbia as the 2nd fastest growing metro nationally for high-tech jobs. It's worth noting that the high growth rate is due to a not having a large base number of STEM jobs. However, it's the second consecutive year for this ranking. This suggests that Columbia's efforts to attract high-tech jobs is working, and in my opinion means increasing interest in the InnoVista concept could happen sooner than later (especially as the economy turns around).
