National Signing Day 09' was yesterday! It seems the rich only get richer??

ESPNU & CBS College Sports rated LSU's recruiting class #1! ....While Rivals.Com & Scout.com said Alabama had the best class.

Regardless who had the BEST class...LSU, Alabama, USC, Ohio State, Texas had very strong classes! Georgia and Florida got some strong classes!!! As did Miami, Michigan, Florida State, North Carolina, So Carolina and Oklahoma.

The Boise schedule looks weak(was Oregon really the toughest?); they could easily finish the regular season undefeated at 12-0...the toughest games remaining is Fresno St & at Tulsa. While I think Boise is a good team; they easily lose 3 or 4 games in the SEC or Big 12...

BYU's schedule looks tougher with Florida State, TCU and Utah..but they are all HOME games!

Alabama beat Va Tech 34-24...Oklahoma State handled Georgia 24-10...Ohio State got a scare vs Navy 31-27... Miami 38-34 over Florida State in an entertaining game!

KEY GAMES THIS WEEK:

USC-Ohio State

Notre Dame-Michigan

Georgia-South Carolina

Tennessee-UCLA

Good game last night Ga Tech nealy blew a 24 point lead; beat Clemson 30-27

*UPSET ALERT*... Houston beat #5 Oklahoma State 45-35...

WEEK 3 should be entertaining as well!!!

KEY GAMES...#1 Florida-Tennessee....#2 Texas-Texas Tech...#3 USC-Washington...

How are your favorite teams doing so far???

So Carolina UPSET #5 Ole Miss last night 16-10!!!

>Florida/Tennessee was closer than most expected 23-13...>Texas avenged Texas Tech 34-24;

>Washington UPSET USC 16-13...and the Huskies did not play their best game...LSU did not look flat only beating UW (Week #1) 31-23 afterall!

>Florida State throttled BYU 54-28; Va Tech edged Nebraska 16-15; Georgia outscored Arkansas 52-41! Oregon ended Utah's winning streak...

*WEEK 4*

Florida/Kentucky...Alabama/Arkansas...Georgia/Arizona State...California/Oregon...Miami/Virginia Tech...Penn State/Iowa...Houston/Texas Tech...UNC/Ga Tech

Talk about a Week of Upsets...after the Ole Miss loss; #5 Penn State lost to Iowa; #6 Cal got hammered by Oregon 42-6...

Tim Tebow got knocked-out of the game late in the 3rd qtr with a concussion & a 31-7 lead vs Kentucky...my question is WHY(I already know the answer) was he still in the game?? He had been sick during the week; flown on a seperate plane from the rest of the team; and needed IV just to play in the game! I hope he will be OK soon!

Miami lost to Virginia Tech; Houston has been the suprise team so far this season IMO; beat Texas Tech 29-28

Is LSU Ranked #4 by default?? Guess they get to prove that this Sat. on the road vs #14 Georgia...Oklahoma/Miami should be interesting too!

So, what do you think now?

I have my doubts, but they keep pulling through. I'm looking forward to this weekends game...I kinda hope Tebow plays. I haven't seen him cry in a while :)

I think LSU proved their legit after the tough SEC road-win vs a Top 20 opponet; they rise to the level of competition...it was frustrating watch them dominate the 1st half like that(total yards 236-49); but only lead 6-0. Too many missed opportunities.... They are still a work-in-progress with the 19 year old QB.

Should be a fun game Saturday vs #1 Florida...the atmosphere should be electric with ESPN Game Day coming to Baton Rouge! Would like to see Tebow play; but his health is too big a concern; if he can't play...maybe he can get a re-match in Atlanta for the SEC Championship?? Alabama may have something to say about that.... will be there tooth-n-nail too!

Impressive 3 of the Top 4 teams are from the SEC!

i'm actually pickin LSU to Prevail over Florida down there. The SEC is definately where the power is at these days no doubt about that, tho it's easy for the conference to look so good when it's players take classes like "color inside the lines 101" (that's a joke :D )

Trying to keep this updated....as we enter the 2nd half of College Football Season...no team looks "unbeatable"...some really close calls/suprises? from the Top Teams! On the 17th Florida got by Arkansas 23-20 in a controversial game. Texas edged Oklahoma 16-13; USC held off Notre Dame 27-20..

Last week Alabama survived a 12-10 scare from Tennessee...USC held on to beat Oregon State 42-36...Florida beat Miss State 29-19. Iowa beat Michigan State 15-13 on the last play of the game...*TCU could be this year's BCS Buster with a dominating 34-7 win over BYU! LSU beat Auburn 31-10.

Cincinnati & Boise St remain undefeated at 7-0

This Week's KEY GAMES...

USC at Oregon...Texas at Oklahoma State...Florida vs Georgia(Jacksonville)

The SEC is no doubt once against the Strongest Conference with the Best Teams....BUT it also has WORST Officials....suspensions; reprimands of coaches; horrendous calls & no-calls...PATHETIC! The SEC's agenda is nearly complete....LATEST excuse?? No HD for the Replay Booth!! Are you kidding me?? What a JOKE! Not sure which call was worse?? Fla/Ark personal foul or the INT call on LSU late in the 4th qtr?? It did not lose the game; but it gauranteed the outcome! There have been plenty more too...not to mention last time LSU played Bama in Tuscaloosa 07' LSU had 14 penalties...Bama...2 So what took place last Sat was not a big suprise!

Is their truly an agenda that favors Florida & Alabama to remain undefeated to guarantee a spot in the National Championship Team?? It's hard to argue...as long as the Offices are in Birmingham anything is possible...the playing field is not even

Credit they both have good teams...but something just smells fishy..too much BIG-TIME $$$ involved now days...
