See a tower crane base out there anywhere? Usually they'll stick them in a shaft or something (trash chute) that carries up from floor to floor, so they can leave the shaft at the end and dis-assemble the tower crane. And considering this construction site is 250' long, and most cranes are somewhere around 230' in reach (?), the crane will probably be centralized.

A little birdie told me there will not be a crane at 38... May will be interesting, Precast for the garage will start towards the end of the month. Everything should start moving quickly. Garage is going up in 3 sections, so it will go up to full height, 1/3 at a time :ph34r:

The 250 ton crane went to work today with placing the preform cement parking ramp pieces. With the two 180 foot cranes, it sure looks like they are poised to build at a real fast pace.

I've been on vacation the last 2 weeks, so I haven't been getting as many pictures as I have in the past. I made it over today to get some shots. The project is going verticle at a fast pace. The first section of the parking ramp has surpassed the apartment section with using pre-cast cement.

A section of the top of the stairwell and/or elevator shaft was put up today. I also have video of the installation of one of the precast cement slabs.

Been taking a lot of pictures this week. I believe all the pre-cast slabs are in place and the parking ramp is built up. I heard from a Weston Resident that they will be taking down the large crane tomorrow (Saturday).

Joe and Andrew,

Those photos were taken yesterday the 31st. The pre-cast for the parking ramp is installed as far as I know. The apartment/condo building is being poured. They are now working on the top two condo levels now. I'll try to find out when they plan on starting the office building on the Weston Street side.
