Thanks, gsupstate! That is a great looking development for the western (southern) bank of the Reedy River. It is really coming along nicely, and I overheard one of the developers of The Terrace @ RP say that they are just about to begin construction.

I've never seen this site and don't think we've mentioned here. Check it out. They have construction update photos. Click on the photos and look at the aerials....great shots. Not only shows Riverplace, but shows the density of Greenville's downtown.

Has anyone heard anything lately about the Cheesecake Factory? There was talk about them coming to Riverplace and my wife was wondering if they really are coming into Greenville.

We are small for a PF Changs as well but once is under construction. I've heard the Cheese Cake Factory and PF Changs are big competitors, that they often enter the same markets. I wouldn't be surprised if we got one, but I think it would go near the PF Changs, but then who knows.

I would just as soon we didn't get an Ikea...their prices are great, but you certainly get what you pay for.

Sounds like The Cheesecake Factory to me, or at least what their current spots look like (ie. Southpark in Charlotte). Don't think a freestanding store in Greenridge would fit their style?

Was downtown last night, went for a walk...the Stairs at Riverplace down to the promenade are now open, as well as the promenade as far as to the Riverhouse. Also, from the premenade the parking garage is open, I was able to walk in side their as well.
