Built as the Third National Financial Center, this was Nashville's first Postmodern skyscraper, utilizing decorative motifs adapted from historic structures. The sloping columns and curved cornices were inspired by William Strickland's Downtown Presbyterian Church across the street. The gable roof at the crown is typical of the Postmodern style.
