    History: This National Register property was introduced as The Savoy Hotel in 1907, one of several preeminent hotels built in anticipation of the famous Jamestown Exhibition. Later it became home to one of the South's largest and most famous jewelry stores, The Paul-Gale-Greenwood Company. Most recently it was known at the Bankers Trust Building.
