Petersburg Station

  • Description: The station, funded with city, state and federal government money, will bring together local and long-distance public transit service. At the site will be service from Greyhound lines, a shuttle to the Amtrak station in Ettrick, the Petersburg Area Transit bus routes and GRTC Transit System, the Richmond bus company that offers weekday service linking the two downtowns.<br />At least 12 routes will stop at the station, allowing for riders to make transfers in one place. The facility will also allow dry, warm, safe passage -- and waiting -- for patrons of the city's buses.
